You're so my hero.

I haven't checked but I hope there's a PayPal "Gimme some money for my efforts" link somewhere on the download page. With money the way it is lately I know I can't pay you for what your time is actually worth but I'd love to toss at least enough for a couple beers your way if it works (of course, if it doesn't I'll need the beer money for repairs).

Cant wait to see "the bells and whistles".

(So hope the version you're working on will be compatible with my unit.)

Since Sayen called them "Original" files I have a feeling that's not a patch version... he was sharing the ripped original files for some brilliant person (Otaku) to work on a patched version. You can't patch without the original to reverse engineer how to make it work... but, from what I understand; no, you cannot "downgrade" to a previous version without a hella lot of work.

If you're requesting a newer version you'll have to get the source code and hope (and pray) as I have been that Otaku or someone else equally talented is able to work out a patch for that one as well.

I think Otaku has given up on patching individual versions and is working on creating a general patcher that should work for all versions. That way we will always be able to have an up-to-date version. It makes a lot more sense and he is definitely brilliant enough to pull it off.

Yes, this are not the patched files!

I made a downgrade, just by replacing the loading.kwi file with the patched 3109 from otaku, and it works perfectly :)
Thanks Otak

It would be FANTASTIC if you could patch the Aux input too.

What version did you downgrade from? I was thinking of trying that with mine but I didn't want to screw the entire unit up.. have you noticed any lost features or other side effects?

From reading this thread and the ...EM version thread. It appears those with the EM version can use the hack, even if their version is newer then the hack version. Whereas, those with the ...UM version can not.

From 3110 to this patched NR261EM: http://www.deltainfo.ro/manuals/mitsu/outlander/

just by replacing the loading.kwi and disconnecting the battery for ~5min.

No changes noticed. only that DVD in motion works :)
