DVD in motion patch for NR261UM
It's just the way this forum was built. The Outlander section is shared between 1st and 2nd Gen, and most of the time the 1st Gen members get outposted by the 2nd Gen members and their question gets thrown to the 2nd or 3rd page after 1 day, and they don't get as much answers. And for a thread like this, 70 pages is too much. But what can I say, this is a forum and not a wiki. A wiki has been suggested but nobody wants to do the work. And for ages the search function is broken, but finally it's working again, so it's back to old forum saying "search before asking". And frankly most of the members here have seen the same question asked over and over again.
I am here in the wrong forum, or in the right forum ?
I just bought a Citroen c-crosser, wich is almost the same car as the outlander xl. I tried to use the patches here, but no one does apply. Here is my versions indication:
Loader 261EM-CTR 1.10
Application 10.00.17
Ever heard about it? Too exotic?
Thanks for an answer

OK, so first post on here, so lets say hi, and thanks to the guys looking @ all this stuff, you really are cool.
I've been wanting this for ages a music video DVD I can have on whilst driving. So i'm just downloading the outlander version for my Lancer GS4, and I hope it is going to work.
Any reason why it won't?
I have the NR261-EM version so I assume it will, fingers crossed.

Update: Worked a treat!
Just an idea, anyone thought of making a new 'sticky' thread with the links and a quick explaination on which version for which car/model and a link for them.
It took me ages to scroll through this thread of 70 odd pages etc...
Just want to say a big thanks to the guys who have done this! Great job!
As a side note has anyone managed to unpack the KWI file and have a play round, I can't seem to unpack it with the tool from his website. I would love to be able to change the layout to something a little bit more user friendly, or failing that the background image.

Good evening! I'm from Russia. Unfortunately, I do not know English.
We also have a forum, MMSC.
The main theme - no maps of Russia. But before we deal with the cards, we want to install Russian language in the MMSC of European and Japanese versions. My Pajero installed NR261RM 1.12, there are Russian. I would like to know is it possible?
Thank you!

Hi all,
I bought a 2009 Outlander a few weeks ago without Nav. The dealer very nicely added both the nav unit and the backup camera for $1,800 today, (and had a hard time doing the camera cause it wasnt prewired for it.)
I have been reading through all the posts regarding the dvd in motion and think that I can use the NR-261UM 1.09 ISO CD but with one question remaining.
It is indicated that the software is for version 00.30.94
Mine is 00.30.99
Will that work?
Thanks in advance
Lars

Hey guys...I wanted to clarify something...for those that have above Application 00.30.94, since there is not current method for using a disc for the DVD unlock, can we still do the unlock via the hard drive way? The instructions from brian360 at the beginning of this thread seem to indicate that, but one thing it doesn't mention, unless I missed it, is how we go about patching the loading.kwi file that is on the HDD. If anyone has some info, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
