It is region locked and plays only region 1 discs. It is very annoying for all of us who imported their cars from US to Europe...

I'm not sure what the latest EM version is... as I'm a UMer myself. The Europeans are going to have to gather their latest version so you can patch them Otaku. I am almost positive that 30.99 is the newest as of today for UM. (Given the new Mitsu models will be out in a few months, and they should have newer versions.)
*sigh* I read my own patched version number.. Short-term memory is highly overrated..

Problem
So i downloaded the iso, burnt image to disc, then put it into my MMCS. It asked me to update. I said yes, then it said "version-up" in progress. After like two minutes it went to the Mitsubishi Motors screen. Now, it just keeps flashing Mitsubishi Motors over and over. Any suggestions. My MMCS is pretty much bricked right now.

What version were you on ?
Were there any error reports on the screen ?
If you run through the upgrade process again, does it prompt you again ?

Try pulling the battery for a few minutes so it can cold boot.

Same thing happened to me, i did unplug the battery for a few minutes but is no luck the mitsubishi logo keeps flashing.
Its not reading the cd anymore, any other suggestions?
