Yes, has been done ..
Although not for release, because that'll move us into an entirely new can'o'worms as far as Mitsu are concerned..
May have a viable Key Reset mechanism though, solely for those who wish to sell on their map upgrades after a catastrophic failure of their units..

Hey guys, I've been a long-time follower of this topic, just waiting for this newest release. Just to clarify for everyone, all you need to do is extract the rar, burn the .iso to a CD, put the disk into the system and let it update. And that's it! Put in a DVD!
Thank you SO much to Otaku and all others that contributed. This newest release will make many, many people happy especially in the 08-09 Lancer community.

If your MMCS has 3099 or 4011 then no, you do not need to unlock it to apply this patch.

OMG Otaku... thank you so much! I'd all but given up on getting to watch DVD while stuck in stop and go traffic, so glad you're okay (and that you were able to work on this project).
Just burned the 3099 ISO when I realized - if memory serves correctly - that I have 30.97. Will double check that but that's the number that was stuck in the back of my head.
Will 3099 work if the MMCS is version 30.97?

Started with 30.97... installed the patch for 30.99 and drive around all night watching Blade Runner... thank you so much Otaku.
