Electric Parking Brake help
I just changed rear brakes pads on my 2017 Outlander and I cannot get rid of the "Parking brake service required" and "release parking brake" messages. It seems it may be stuck in maintenance mode. The brakes and parking brake are functioning, but I cannot figure out how to clear these messages. How do you clear these messages?
Any help would be appreciated.

Service mode ? pardon my ignorance. I usually do all the main. on my cars, however I just bought my Outlander 2019 and I didnt had the chance to service anything yet, So can you explain a little how to deal with the elct. parking brake while service the rear brake ? thanks :-)

This reply is for the OP
try holding the Electric Park Brake switch up for a few seconds. If this doesnt work you will need to use a scantool
Does not have to be a Dealer MUT3 one. Most Quality scantools that professional repairers use have the capability of this
