A good indicator of the immobilizer is a gold ring around the ignition switch. That is the antenna ring that looks for the transponder signal inside of the key once the switch is turned on. Good luck!

That's good to know, I wasn't aware that the gold ring had a function. I just thought..."damn it'd be nice if this lit up at night"
