Hi guys.

Just finished my Evo X Remote ETACS programming by Vadimus.

Great experience!

Really recommend the service if anyone ( like me ) is afraid of messing around with the car ECU.

Thx again Vadimus!

Andre

Hi Vadimus,

I got my lexia and tried to change one setting first: 89 front fog lamp mode to Bspec. Steps I did
Turn on the ignition
Run ETACS Decoder then connect to Lexia
Change the setting to Bspec
Encode then Write to ETACS (pop up instructions turn off for 1-2 seconds and turn on again)
Being asked to Restore customizing string (I tried both ok and cancel)
Reconnect lexia and still the setting didn't change. It shows A spec.

Anything I did wrong? I have updated the firmware to 4.2.8.
Thanks a lot

Thanks

Yeah. I got very scared at first but same as yours it didn't show again after restart. Hopefully, Vadimus can help me out with the problem with writing to ETACS. I'll have to look for diagbox installer if decoder will have problems with my car as my Lexia didn't came with one.

Vadimus,

To update, I tried diagbox 7.24 to try to configure first fog lamp. When selected, I can't change TYPE A. Everything settings cannot be change except Tire circum. So I didn't change that but still pres write (gear button). Reset ignition and everything still the same and cannot change any setting.

Loaded Decoder, Variant coding changed the last 8 numbers to zeros which I read from previous posts to be ok. All the others are the same. Tried changing a setting again, restarted ignition and still would go back to original setting. Do you think its my lexia or etacs? Special case I guess.

@vadimus:

Tried Diagbox 7.36 on my Outi 3. Read Vin without problems, but it is not possible to write to ETACS. I tested customer-options and you can see the values, choose an change it but if i trie to write i get an error ...

In default settings the displayed values are incorrect ...

Read parameters in Engine ECU without problems!

Any news for Outlander 3 e. g. with ETACS-Decoder?
