Default Evo Brakes

Hello,

Not too sure if this was covered before. I tried to do some searching and nothing really came up.

I am looking to see if anyone know if the brakes from a lets say 2008 Evo are compatible with the 2008 outlander?

The outlander is based from a lancer so hope someone has the answer.

Thanks

I doubt the wheels would fit over them, but measure your caliper bolt spacing and start there.

Hi, I've asked the dealer in Ontario, Canada in regards if a 2010 Outlander XLS would be able to be fitted with Evo 10 Brembo brakes(same mind : ) since both from lancer family), dealer said no. They were saying something that it would not fit because of the "knuckles".

You may need to take an angle grinder and make a bracket, but I bet it could be done.

I agree! I would do it in a heart beat if only i don't have to switch to snow tires during winter.

I would think you would have to change the brake master cylinder. You are displacing much more brake fluid with the larger brakes.

And how would that affect your ABS? If someone lended me a set of brembos, you bet your *** I'd try it out. But I would find an empty parking lot to put it to the test before keeping them

It wouldn't, the tone rings are on the axles.
