Default FAST KEY

Has anybody gotten the instructions on how to modify the FAST KEY behavior for unlocking doors? I would like to set it to unlock all of the doors when the driver touches the sensor. Any ideas? Also, what is the little grey button for near the key hole?

If you have the nav system you can change the settings via the Setup/Equipment menu. If not, you need to get the stelaer to change it as it requires the Mitsubishi Scan Tool.

As for the little grey button near the keyhole - are you talking about outside on the door handle? If so, that is to lock all doors, etc. as part of the Fast Key system.

Nope it does not. It says to "see your authorized mitsu dealer". I acutally have read most of the manual.

So...there is nothing in the manual that tells you about the fast key at all?

The manual talks about functionality from the factory settings (In Detail), and it states that different settings can be achieved, but that in order to set the system different than factory, then you need to go to your dealer.

ALSO, similar wordage is used for the setup of the Bluetooth in terms of the voice profile setup. the system says to read phrases from a book, but the phrases are not in the book.

We must have 2 different manuals. There was a section that said I'd have to go to the dealer to set up the option to shift into park and the doors unlock..but guess what? I just set it and it worked.
I guess it's off to the dealer for you.

I set everything through the navigation screen. Really nice set up by mits to allow you to do everything from that. It puts it in simple plain english.
