Default Fog Lamp Covers?

Hey Guys,

I bought a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander and totally have fallen in love with it.

It didnt' come with fog lights, which is ok with me, I don't mind that much. But what I didn't notice, was that one of the fog lamp covers (you know the one that is just a dummy fog lamp shield) is missing.

I went to the dealer, and they told me that there is nothing they can do, because those covers come tacked on to the bumper. Only 2 options are to

1) get a new bumper
2) get fog lights installed

Is there some sort of plastic snap on thing that will cover the hole? It's not noticable, but since I know it's there, it drives me crazy. Any suggestions?

Take the other one out so they match.

I have to admit , that would annoy the f*** out of me!

Ya, either pop out the other, or get some fog lamps...

Damn, didn't want to go that route, but I guess those really ar my only 2 options.

I was hoping for something after market to fill the holes.

May wish to consider 3d printing services. Use the remaining cover as a model. Probably have to paint both to match. Not sure the longevity of 3d printed materials, but possibly reasonable. Here's a link to one service: http://i.materialise.com/
