Do you have HID lights or no. If you have the HIDs then you have DRL day time running lights. Those you cant turn off. They are always on until you put your headlights on.

Well, im not sure about the HID lights...I just bought the outlander, complete stock outie, so Im not too sure about that. So does the fog light turn on automaticly, or do you have to hit bottons to turn it on??

As far as I know, you are in Canada so no HID. There is a ring on thelights stalk (left on the steering column) which you should turnON an OFF.Reading the User's Manual would help too.

You get HID's with the Luxury package (at least here in the USA), along with leather and seat warmers. So if you have leather and heated seats, then you have the luxury package and probably have HID's, which means that the fog lightscome on automaticallyevery time you start the car, and gooff if you turn on your lights. If you don't have the luxury package (or are somewhere that doesn't offer HID's), then the Fog lights would be on the left stalk on the circular dial past the headlight control, it would be easy to find. Check here: https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_176525/tm.htmif youneed help finding it.

IIRC ShortyRider is from Canada and the HID is not available in Cananda at all.
ShortyRider, could you confirm that you have a Canadian Outlander?

It's on the same stalk with the lights. It's a little ring which you turn up and down for ON and OFF. Important: they only work when you have your headlights on (not the parkinglights or DRL).

Yes it is. It's the only one on the left side of the steering. I think there is a picture somewhere here; I'll look for it. Too late to go downto take a picture.
