Default My experience

A few years ago I bought a valor unit for my Sienna. Like this one:

http://www.valormultimedia.com/Product/110.html

It is a chinese knockoff type unit like you show below. The sad part about them is that while they have a huge number of "features", many don't work well and are have terrible user interfaces. After struggling to use it on a daily basis, it actually died about a year later. I've had a pioneer DVD unit installed for the last two years and love it. AVH-P4000. It's intuitive and works as described without a hickup. Less features, but works WELL and looks like it will hold up a lot longer. I will never buy a chinese knockoff again unless their quality goes up and the user controls get much, much better.

At the same time I installed a set of replacement headrests in the front seats with built in 10" monitors. They were of similar quality to the ones you show and they've been very handy for the kids. One occasionally goes wonky at colder temperatures but a quick tap and it's ok again. Flaky internal connection or cold solder joint somewhere but not a big problem. Those I would buy again without hesitation...they've saved a lot of crying on long trips.
