Sorry for the bad English it 4am and been at the all day

Hi I have a 2003 outlander call him Gray. I do a lot of remote work mostly in the Australian outback where I can be 1000k+ from fuel ⛽️.

And I looking to install a extra fuel tank in Gray.

I have a a lot of idea about how but I wanted to if and one has done anything like that

I looking to add a 2004 lancer fuel tank or make my own tank. To install at the back bumper under the spear trie.

But I unsure on the best way to get the fuel gauge to work on the extra tank. I don't want to add any fuel gauge in the dash I want to use the in build one if I can.

And I don't rely want to transfer the fuel from one tank to the other with a pump it feel like a waste.

If anyone have the fuel wire diagrams that will be a life saving. As I hoping to copy the second float idea on the main tank to the aux tank.
