Default Hard disk failure on Peugeot 4007

Hi,

I already posted this in an existing thread, but it's still not solved, so maybe by posting a new thread I get more people to read this... (yes, kinda desperate )

I'm having a huge problem with the MMCS in my 4007. Appearantly the hard disk is broken. It says: 'it’s difficult to read the hard disk. Wait for a while until the hard disk is restored'.' No music from hard disk, not from CD and no navigation, no screen, only the message. Radio works, but can only choose channels that were set before, no frequency change. Hands free system works too. Reverse camera works, but only if I start in reverse and then it keeps showing the camera view, even when driving forward. When starting not in reverse (so, in free or forward gear) it displays the message, then, when putting it in reverse, it keeps displaying the message, not the rear view. This is also quite anyoying.

I have already taken HDD out, left battery not connected for 30 mins, refitted HDD, system restarts, but no improvement.

So: anyone familiar with this problem?

Or maybe someone in the Netherlands or Belgium, who has the same MMCS version (P-01) whose HDD I can copy onto a new one? (anyone have experience with unlocking/copying HDD?, There is quite an eleborate explanation over here: https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...ck-mmcs-25583/ , I'm not a computer expert, so I'm a bit hesitant...)
