Default Help!! 2012 Mitsubishi RVR Headlight not working

Hi guys, I have a 2012 Mitsubishi RVR that I bought a month ago, I swapped out the stock headlights and installed a Canbus HID kit, I've been using the kit for roughly two weeks and yesterday I noticed the driver side light has gone dead.

I tried unplugging all the connecting wires and thus far nothing has worked. The passenger side works perfectly. I even tried removing the whole HID unit from the driver side and used the stock bulb that came with the RVR on the connecter that doesnt work either.

Do you guys think a fuse might have blown somewhere ?

Please help.

Thnx

Sounds like it.

Did you have halogens stock?

If so, did you run a sufficient gauge wire to power the new ballasts and use a relay?

If not, did you replace the OEM ballasts or just the bulbs?

Burtonrider10022.. I found the problem it was a blown fuse, so i replaced it and it works now, well the dealer I bought the Canbus HID kit from said it was just a basic plug and play unit so I just did that.

I currently I have installed backed my Halogen lamps in fear I might blow a next fuse if I switch back to the HID kit.

Do you have any pointers you can give on how I can go about re-installing the HID without potentially blowing a next fuse?

Thnx
