Default Help - How do I loosen the belt tensioner

Hello, everyone.

Can someone tell me how to loosen the belt tensioner for the alternator and AC belt?

Not sure about Outlander's belt tensioner, but usually (on other cars) you need to throw a wrench on the center nut of the tensioner pulley and lean on it a little

Thank you so much.

For the 07 outlander, the nut is at the bottom. Now I can continue changing the timing belt.
