Default Hill start assist

Hi
I have a 2013 manual outlander which i like but for one thing and thats the hill start assist.
I believe its not needed and i find it annoying.
If anyone knows how to disable it i would love to know.

try private messaging Vadimus about this. He's been leading up an effort to use an adapter called a Lexia to change computer options. It may be an option that can be enabled/disabled. I haven't played with one, so I wouldn't know.

Automatic or manual transmission?
If auto, simply delay the application of the the throttle for about 1/2 sec after you lift off the brake. In some countries this will cause those behind you to sound their horns so you will have to anticipate the light change.
If manual, I don't know.
