Default How to change daytime running bulb on '07 Outie?

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to change the daytime running light bulb on my 2007 Outlander? I took off the black outer ring OK and played with the 3 clips attached to the lens, but the lens would not separate from the holder. Looked under the hood and saw no easy way, so here I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately this video shows the newer model with the DRL up in the main headlight cluster, not down below.

Anyone know how to get the clear cover off the housing without breaking the tabs?

Are you talking about the tiny little incandescent bulb that hardly makes any light? If I remember correctly it's the same thing, turn and pull. Follow the wires and you'll find them kinda tucked underneath the main bulb.

I don't like the look of those bulbs anyways and tried to take them out. Right side was no problem (helps to remove washer fluid reservoir stem for access), but the left one is stuck and I haven't gotten around to spraying it with some lube.

The DRL on my 07 are down low below the main headlamp cluster. Where the fog lights are located. Can they be accessed from the front? Or do you need to pull the front fascia to access? The socket is tucked in front of the washer reservoir.

They are difficult to get to, but you do not access them from the front or remove any of the assembly. The bulb twists out of the socket from the bottom. I happen to be missing a couple of plastic underbody covers, so mine were slightly easier to get to. But you have to really reach up in there from the bottom, which might require removing some of the plastic panels.
