How to remove cabin filter?

RE: How to remove cabin filter?
I think It's inconvieniently located behind the glove box. You have to
remove said glove box to get to it. If you are mechanically inclined and
have never done it, set aside about 2 hours. After the first time, maybe
5 minutes. Or just have the dealer do it when you go for a tune up.

Whether mechanically inclined or not, it should take no longer than 5 minutes. The glove box pops out in a few seconds once you unhook the side stops. From there, you'll see a rectangular shaped section in the heater (hvac) unit with 2 phillips screws on each end. Remove the screws then pull out the filter. Its going to look NASTY!! Button it back up by reversing the above steps.

i only see three screws and from their im lost. is the box that yall speak of right in back of the glove box. or do you have to disconnect the levers and then open the box. Also why do they call it a glove box when no one carries gloves, and why a box, it is not even the right shape
