Default Ignition Ring

Does anyone know if an 04 LS has the ignition illumination ring? The one that lights up before/after you remove the keys from the ignition. The manual said it should light up. I looked at it and it looks like an amber colored ring around the ignition. Dealer says it doesn't light.

you guys are right. They are BS. They said that they looked at the other models on their lot and non of them lit. I'm tempted to open the damn thing and fix it myself. I'm going back to the dealer and tell them WHO"s THE BOSS !!!

That's really weird...........
What kind of alarm do you have? I seem to remember having no light on the ring with my old alarm. Just a thought.

Dealer finally said that it should light. They tested some 04's. Some had the light, others didn't. I'll bring it back to them next week. I received an email form another member saying that he actually opened the steering wheel cover on an 04 LS. The bulb on the ring was missing.

I know this is not a big deal but since there is a lense on the key ring, might as well light it up. It looks cool at night.
