Default Interested in a group buy for a $50 roof rack?

Anyone interested in a group buy for a roof rack, we would need 36 people to buy them??? They are basically a rip off of the whispbar or thule aeroblade edge.
Mitsubishi Outlander Roof Luggag Rack Cross Bar Whispbar, View mitsubishi outlander, Ferretti Product Details from Qingdao Sunsail Auto Accessories Co., Ltd. on Alibaba.com

For for about $50 shipped(that's a tank of gas), they are worth a try right??

I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, just found them online.

The way alibaba works is if you want to start a business here in the united states, it connects you with a supplier of certain products in China. You can order custom re-branded products or just order them and package them inside your own box etc... Then sell them in your store.

I'm trying to contact them and see if they'll lower the minimum quantity. Maybe we can get a custom logo imprinted on them or something as well.

I would love the Mitsubishi logo on them and more pictures of the racks.

Doubt we could put a mitsubishi logo on it, customs would red flag it as knockoffs and reject the shipment. It would have to be a custom logo.

But seeing as there isn't enough interest, a group buy is not going to happen :-(

As you have to order so many sets from 'alibaba' its better to go with 'aliexpress' and order what you need. Pay a bit more but then your not landed with 30+ sets to dispose of. Several options and they look quite good even when I compare with my genuine Whispbar. Free shipping also helps

No need for group buy if you can get for a reasonable price delivered directly to you. Those ones in link look ideal. Very much the same as my genuine Whispbars that I bought second hand.
