Just found out the 100k warranty doesn't cover used cars
Sucks. The dealer we bought it at (not a Mitsu dealer, not that i'd matter since they don't have a CPO program anyways) said it came with "the balance of the factory warranty" and that "Mitsubishi has a 10 year 100k mile powertrain warranty". So I'm a little upset, but in reality it wouldn't have changed our decision.
Someone tell me that longterm the V6 and 6 speed auto is a reliable powertrain for the long haul so I didn't need the warranty anyways.

Powertrain components are covered for this time and mileage period
under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
NOTE:
1) 10/100 Powertrain Coverage*
Applies only to the original owners of new, retailed vehicles. Subsequent
owners receive 5-year/60,000-mile coverage under the New
Vehicle Limited Warranty.
2) Restraint System
For vehicles sold and registered in the state of Kansas, the seat
belt and related components are covered for 10 years, regardless
under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
