kayak Roof rack setup for outlander
Hey all,
Just wondering what people have for a roof rack set up with their outlander. I am going to be buying a kayak and I will need to buy cross rails AND the kayak holders and am wondering if people have good experiences with lower cost racks like Sportrack or should I just splurge and go with Thule?
It will be a 16.5 touring kayak so I am not sure if that changes the type of kayak rack I need to get - I was hoping I could just use the J racks - but I have only seen those used with much shorter kayaks...
Thanks for your input!

Don't know if you can source them in your part of the world but I would highly recommend these......

They are a little expensive, but look more OEM than OEM (Thule in the UK), can stay attached at all times (low drag and noise) and are "T" track compliant.
I've had these on my car for a year (with additional bike carriers) and would simply not use anything else now.
