KYB New SR Suspension
Originally, Outlander's shocks is made from KYB.
I still feel too soft ,no stable and comfortable during driving
I changed to KYB New SR last week.
I feel the control is getting much much better, shaking also improved.
Also make the handling become much accuracy!
It is really worthy to change it.

Interesting...I find the shocks to be too firm. If you drive on any concrete highways it feels like the car is dropping off ~10 cm ledges each time you cross the seams. Even older asphault roads transfer bumps quite a bit to make the ride a bit bone jarring. Let's not even talk about dirt roads with potholes, which make it swing violently from side to side each time a tire gets into one of them.
Althought I agree the handling is very good compared to most CUVs, but you compromise on ride quality.

Lyon, thanks for letting us know what you think of the KYBs. I looked around for shocks/struts for our cars and was disappointed KYB was the only option.
Ivan, all in fun, you should ride in a Ranger with torsion suspension (all 4WD models)...stiff as hell!!!
The suspension is one of the things of the Outlander I enjoy!! hehe!
