Recently did quite a few suspension mods / upgrades including brand new front control arms. After putting the new control arms on, back of the wheels were rubbing. Geometry was perfect after alignment was done, so I'm guessing that the bushings on the old control arms were just old and not as stiff as supposed to be? Anyway, just cut off the part that was rubbing, smoothed it out, put some masking tape on and sprayed it with plastidip to avoid any rust and all is well :)

Hey bud. Just want to clarify.
so the 235/60R18 on stock rims (7 inch with 38 offset) with no wheel spacers ir lift didnt rub??
You said no rubbing but very slight and barely noticeable rubbing on full lock on rear part of wheel.

I'm about to buy a set of second hand rims with new tyres on it from a wheel shop.
wanted to go up to the 235\60r18 but want to make sure they will fit.
this is on a 2009 outlander, fully stock.
