Changed stock DRLs to LED strip ones.
Not too bright...


...though visible even against HIDs

No, just partial disassembly of the front bumper. No baking required

"Side glow" LED strips are glued to bottom edge of a headlight.

interesting... do you have any up-close pics? Are they just glued to the front of the housing or is there a lip that goes down you glued it behind?

There's a horizontal lip (lower surface of a headlilght's "glass").

Well, the shape of our headlight makes the light strip relatively unique
