On line at EOBD@.com, there ia a Lexia 3 unit. V23. Is this the unbit that will enable me to get into the ETACs?

Don't mind spending the money, just want to get the correct unit.

And if I understand what I've read here, this unit worked for you?

LikeI said, I don't mind spending the money but I want to make sure I'm getting what I want.

A laptop is needed, correct?

What version of windows is needed? I'm running Vista Home.

XP only. Nothing else seem to work also you have to STOP all antivirus when you install it.

Thanks.

I have also asked this of the seller. Have not recieved a reply yet.

When I do, I will post it here. Maybe there's a software upgrade that is missing?

I'd hate to spend the money, then have to go out and find a laptop with XP.

From the site both Vadimus and I bought and maybe more.

Hardware and software requirements
Software requires at least Intel Celeron/Pentium III 400 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 50MB free HDD space and USB 1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended) and Microsoft Windows 98 SR2/2000/XP with the latest service pack installed.

I tried Win7, had no error message but it did not work so I dusted up an old Laptop wit XP home and it worked well.

You shouldn't have to go out and purchase a laptop with windows XP on it. Just save everything you want from the laptop you have with VISTA and install Windows XP on it. Installing XP will erase your Vista operating system. Vista is a very crappy operating system anyway.

You can just run XP in a VM. No need to erase anything.

I just started reading about this unit, this will work with the Outlander Sport? I saw your other post about getting it to work with your vehicle, but any ideas about the sport? Does it matter what system is installed? I dont have the Navi unit. Please advise as it is a small price to pay to get a lot of those available options. thanks.
