Lighting
Hi Outlander drivers. Here is a message from Holland.
Just changed my Santa Fe into a 2.4 Instyle Outlander. Will get it in 2 weeks time and I am preparing some changes. Yes I like light.
Ofcourse some alterations are needed.
Want to install Xenon fog lamps. In the yellow color as yellow reflects not that much in snow. Want also one fog lamp to light when I take a corner. Cornerlighting is fitted on the Instyle model so I just could trace the wire of the right corner light and make a connection over a relay to the right fog lamp.
The relay should block the corner lighting when the fog lights are switched on.
Also want that when the the high beams (bi xenon) are on also the fog lamps are switched on. (Not otherway around) In my santa Fe I did this by connecting two relays with an electric wire (only 4" long) in the fusebox under the motorhood.
Very easy when you have found out which poles of the realys to take. Would it be also possible to do this in the outlander??? I know xenon has another voltage so I have to take care; don't I.
Who knows the electrical way ?????
