I am looking at purchasing a 2010 Outlander XLS.

Can I get peoples thoughts on this machine? Should I or should I not get one?

Just bought a 2010 myself and am loving it. Handles great for it's size and the v6 is a nice mill for this vehicle. Overall I'm very impressed so far.

I have no idea if you should get one, as I have no idea what you are looking for in car. I wouldn't just blindly recommend a car unless I knew what the person will use it for and what features they want.
If you are in Canada, then its worth it due to the new AWD system. Otherwise, you might as well buy a 1-2 year old used one, as there is virtually no difference apart from the grill.

I subscribe to Consumer Reports and they rate the 2010 Outlander XLS a recommended buy.

If you are in a hurry to buy one it's probably the only option that's worth considering for CUV in that price range. Personally, I am waiting for 2011 Kia Sportage.
