Lounge chair Outlander
Tried the above lounge chair method yesterday in our 2010 Outlander XLS. In short, this arrangement is absolutely fantastic!............ especially for a tired, lazy, long-legged person who is 6'6" tall. This will be perfect for both my wife an I should we have to take a long trip and need to take turns driving and resting, or even for much shorter trips and either one of us would like to take a nap or watch our XLS's OEM overhead DVD player which is intended for passengers in the back seat. So yes, "home theater", complete with lounge chair, miraculously comes to a 2010 Outlander!
Additionally, even with the back of the back seat reclined as far back as it would go (which is not that far, I must say), I was still able to use the seat/shoulder belt as I normally would, which means that, AFAI can tell, this overall arrangement should be perfectly legal.
Stever, thanks very much for posting that video!
