Lower Control Arm Detachment Due to Corrosion Recall
NHTSA Recall#16V-458
Mitsubishi Recall #SR-16-003

Here are the PDFs of the notice.

I had mine replaced previously due to a corrosion related issue, hopefully I will get a refund from that in addition to a reinspection and anti-corrosion or replacement of the replaced crossmember. If I recall, it was not cheap....

How can we get this recall handled? Just go to a dealer for inspection?

That's where I would start, yes.

I have a 2013, but gladly it's not the V6, which is what is affected here.

Thank you for posting this for those of us who have an affected year with the V6.
