Magna Flow Catback On '07 Outlander
Hereare some pics of my magna flow catback system I just had installed on my (unwashed) '07 Outlander. There is no resonator so it is pretty loud. When around 2 to 3 thousand rpm the inside of the car can get really loud. I am contemplating having my old resonator put back on or possibly getting a less loud muffler, not sure yet. It does sound pretty goodthough whenflooring itonto the highway . I can't tell a huge difference in performance but I timed a zero to 60 before the exhaust was changed out and it was around 9.3ish seconds. Now it is around 9 flat. But these were done by me while driving so I can't say they are fully accurate.

Ok, they were too big last time. Hopefully 3 out of the 5 pics will work this time.

RE: Magna Flow Catback On '07 Outlander
My experience with Magnaflow mufflers on another one of my cars was not great. For me they started out loud, then after about 5,000 miles they quieted down to the point that they were too quiet. They also get a lot louder when they heat up. But, they make a lot of different types of mufflers, so they may not all do that. I had oval canisters.

RE: Magna Flow Catback On '07 Outlander
I wanted to get dual exhaust in the beginning but there is some kind of black box (the mechanic called it an air box)on the drivers side that isin the way and the spare tire is positioned more on the drivers side. Plus the black plastic below the bumper is moulded for the exhaust on the passenger side. So if I did get dual it would look odd having one side moulded for the tail pipe and the other wasn't. Overall dual is too much of a hassle. It would look really good if it was done though.
