Before I go to the dealer, I want to ask you guys on here first.

Does anyone know where to get replacement part for it? I got a missingMENU button. It either fell off or lost.

Your service dept may be able to find you one lying around. It should be covered under your warranty if you have less than 12,000 miles. They may justreplace the whole unit.

I can't imagine the button would have gone far. If you cleaned the interior recentlyi'd check your vacuum too.

argh now its going to be annoying to press the menu. I have a mini tool to insert and press the tiny button for the menu option.

I'd still press themto fixit. It's a new car and if something just falls off it should be replaced, regardless of the cost to them. If it was abuse then i'd see them refusing to fix it, but i highly doubt you were banging the MMCS.

I have around 13,400 miles on it. They told me me have to replace the whole thing.

But i'll try another dealer. If doesn't work, I'll call Mitsu and see if they can get it.

Duoh! Just over the limit, isn't that always the case. Most dealers will replace anything if under the 12K mark. You're pretty close though so maybe another dealer will help you out.

I'd try a local junk yard too for any wrecked Outties. Maybe they have one that had major damage to the dash and MMCS (otherwise they'd have pulled it out).Hopefully you couldfind the button you need and super glue it back on to yours.

I'm not sure if he will have to superglue it or not...that was speculation. I was thinking the tab/post on the back had broken or something. I can't imagine it would have come off otherwise.
