Anyone ordered from here? I was looking to order some stuff, but it doesn't look like there's any security/fraud protection when sending credit information over the net. That worries me some. I'm not so worried about not getting my stuff, but about a hacker getting my credit info.

I know a lot of guys have posted about the accessories on the site, buti don't recall anyone saying anything about the order process or problems.

Have you or would you still order?

 

Encryption does not kick in until you get to the order page (just before you actually see the page where you put in your card number), as most vendor sites are. So far no problems with them. Just a minor annoyance on my last order, they didn't inform me the item I ordered was on "backorder" and had me guessing. They didn't even bother to send me an e-mail to inform me, until I called them. I eventually got the goods, but I would have appreciated if they made an effort to inform me that my orders were back-ordered. I know you'd understand how it feels being charged a few hundred $$ and waiting in limbo more than 2 weeks without a word when the items will arrive. Maybe I had high expectations from them because the previous order I made got to me only in a matter of 4-5 days, then on my 2nd order they have me waiting for 2 weeks. And some of the guys I spoke to wasn't very customer friendly at all. That's my story with that site, and my experience might and could be unique from others. Just thought you might want to know.

 

Thanks bro. I entered all my data and was about to move on to the credit section, but i didn't see anything related to secure service or anything and wanted to wait.

As for your complaint...been there done that. I hate when you shell out good money and get crappy service as well. I've ordered a bunch of stuff over the net in my time and the ones that go the extra mile are the ones i come back to order fromagain and again. The others usually get one chance only unless they follow-up when issues arise. I even had once instance where the item was discontinued, but they still charged my card and nobody bothered to let me know for weeks. I raised h#!! on that one. I like to call to place most orders anymore just to be sure i don't get hosed like you did above.

 

I Got stuff from that place last September and their service was good I had to call because of the security on my Canadian MC the transaction was not working on their website for some reason. Anyway after placing my order over the phone the shipping was fast and the guy on the phone was friendly and very helpful.

 

I got my cargo mat from them, no problems.

 

I ordered a couple things from them and no problems. Free shipping and everything came in on time.

 

I bought several items from them with absolutely no problems. They were quick to ship as well.

 

I orderedthe OEMmudguards from them and the transaction went well. However, as I mentioned in another post, they used UPS for shipping and being in Canada, I got ripped off by UPS.
If you ship to Canada, call them to ask if they can use an alternate courier.

 

+1 on that one I got ripped off to by UPS for shipping to canada.

 

Ok, cool. Thanx for all the positive feedback about ordering from them. Luckily it won't be shipping into Canada so i shouldn't gethosed there.
