Yup, verry happy indeed here also. I'm not surprised at all, they are putting out some great vehicles with the new outi, lancer, and the evo 10 coming soon, its gona be a great run for mitsu. All they need now is to either make that electric evo happen(MIEV) or put out some hybrid with a little sports spunk and we may, just may be set.

Does anyone know how many Outlanders were sold in the US and/or Canada in May?

Re: Electric Vehicles...
Mitsubishi made an alliance with Yuasa to produce batteries for Hybrid/Electric Vehicles!
In the electronics industry, I believe that Yuasa isone of the best
in Sealed Battery technology and quality.

Good things are happening!
I'll go and look for a link too!

Thats really good news rtrack, the wife and I are looking for a dailly driver, something verry economical to get us to and from work, it would be nice if it was a mitsu . If they plan on something for next year, heck even the year after that, I'll wait.

The Outlanderis the start of the newer lines of vehicles from Mitsu that hopefully will raise the image of the company, especially the awareness of the American market. Looking at that Black 08 Lancer at the parking lot at work, I am convinced more and more of trading in the wife's CR-V for a Lancer, then well have an all-Mitsu stable at home. But I'll probably wait for the rumored 4WD version later in the year/early next year. Mitsu really needs to provide us with a lower cost 4WD small sedan, and not force us to buy a Galant or an Evo just to get a 4WD sedan.

I dont think they offer the galant in 4wd anymore though, so if you want a 4wd sedan better stick to an evo.

I think I'll wait it out for the Lancer to get 4WD, besides I'm just about 6mos into my 60mos loan with the Outlander so I have plenty of time to wait. :-)
