Hi Mitsubishi Forum, I'm thinking of buying a Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed CVT 2.0 (2019). The sticking point for me is the entertainment system - it has a USB port but when I was at the showroom I attached my 500Gb external hard drive with loads of music on and the entertainment system failed to recognise the device.
In my Mitsubishi Outlander GX3 (2016) I've added an aftermarket Kenwood head unit. I can plug in my 500Gb external hard drive and the use the head unit to search the file structure (Genre > Artist > Album > Song).
I need to know why the Mitsubishi stock entertainment system has a USB port but can't recognise a fairly simple file structure. Could it be that I need to create a flat file structure of Songs to select from (if that's the case searching through 35,000 songs when fancy a change is not going to happen)?
Thoughts please :-)
Steve
