Default mitsubishi outlander parking sensor beeping

Hi All

I have a 2007outlander elegance which I just bought a couple of weeks back. Noticed the parking sensor beeps weather there is anything near rear or nothing at all.

I've checked for 'clicking ' from each of the sensors and noticed one sensor is dead.

Any advice from where I can go from here?

It depends whether those sensors are stock or aftermarket.

Current sensors are factory fitted. Just spoke to Mitsubishi dealer and they sell complete kit only for £185.00 am hoping to just change one sensor?

Seems a bit cheap for complete kit. Do you have this button?

It means you have an aftermarket solution, worth $25 for entire kit on Ebay. I love when dealer sells it for hundreds quids.
Or just get replacement sensors like this US $2.24 one

I went to my local Mitsubishi dealer bout a new sensor for £25.00 paid a fitter £80 to install it and its working fine.

Furthermore I installed a rear parking camera which I bought for £12.00 from china. Fitter wired it through onto my Rockford fosgate mmcs. Working beautifully .....all for the same £80 fitting!

I'm very pleased......
