Exclamation MMCS issues

I have an 07 LS that came with the 6cd changer. I recently traded my 6CD changer for for a MMCS of a 07 XLS and everything works with the exception to the navigation. When I initially installed it I had to get one of the plugs that was taped to the wiring bundle from the vehicle and added to the MMCS. the nav shows up but every time I start the vehicle it says it is Jan 1, 05. the map on the nav moves ans the vehicle moves but Im not in the right place.

I believe that I'm missing some kind of antenna in order for it to work.

Thanks

There is a separate GPS antenna. Did you install that?

It's located directly in front of the compartment above the MMCS. You find the screw's that hold the frame in place inside the compartment. Remove these first, and then remove the part of the dashboard. You will find the GPS antenna fasten to a metal frame inside.
Good luck:-)
