MMCS issues

Instead of giving you various hints that may or may not work, I would rather go with a comprehensive solution. Here is how you can diagnose your problem:
1. Get the service manual from this forum (use this link and go to thread #19 For OS or find the appropriate thread # for the full size Outlander). The same MMCS was built in to all Mitsubishi models at a given model year.
2. Search for MMCS diagnosis (in my 2012 OS model it is under 54A-407). In it you can do speaker checks as well.
3. Visit the "Inspection procedure ,no sound is heard vehicles with audio amplifier" and follow the instructions ( in my 2012 model year it is under 54A-456).
