Default Moving On....

Well, after the two year debacle that has been the ownership of my 2010 Outlander 2.2D Diamond its time to move on.

My take away from the experience is pretty good product, diabolical dealers (in the UK).

Managed to squeeze a barely acceptable trade-in price on an "approved pre-owned" BMW M3. 420BHP V8 and DCT gearbox are greatly anticipated.

I wish you all good luck and good health in the future.

Ive got a 2010 2.2 Citroen C-Crosser through a dealer who know little about the vehicle, I know more!! It has ran well so far but I was thinking of using a Mitsubishi dealer for further services after the warranty ran out thinking they may know more, are you saying differently?

My experience with several Mitsubishi dealers is they are substandard in today's market. If you do a search for my posts you will see some of the problem's i've encountered. I will never buy another Mitsubishi product again due to their dealer network. Mitsubishi UK are not much better. Lot's of noise but little action.

This makes me laugh, and I quote my local Mitsubishi service centre (who are also a Citroen dealer), "we don't have a lot of knowledge on the Outlander other than regular service stuff". Thats before they decided to embargo me because they figured out I didn't buy the car from them.

As I'm sure you know the Peugeot 4007 is the same car so you have other options.

Cheers......

Ive been reading about your car on some of the threads, you have certainly had your fair share of problems. Makes you wonder if by virtue of all the rust it had been standing on the edge of some stormy quayside for some months to get like that.
Ive heard they dont make the european spec Outanders/C-Crossers/4007's in Japan anymore but at a new plant in Holland, that's neither here or there for you as I expect the damage has been done and you wouldn't touch Mitsubishi with a bargepole again!!
I have to somewhat agree with you regarding the audio systems, I have in fact had a call from Citroen today to be told that my build C-Crosser only missed the USB/AUX wiring set up by two months so I'll have to stick with the FM channel set up to connect to my iphone.
I hope you have better luck with your new car.

Yeah, guaranteed it had been enjoying life at an import centre for a while before they sold it to me. It was a 2008 car based on build tickets I found in the car!

Mine is a Dutch built car from their "NedCar" plant. Overall the build quality is good; it's the rest of the owner experience that lets the car down so badly. Interesting point - despite assembly in Europe these cars have Japanese VIN codes. UK built Honda's have UK VIN codes. Go figure!

Thanks for the best wishes. I've also run BMW's for several years and my local dealer is excellent. Nice to feel confident in a product and it's support again. Good luck with the C-Crosser. Nice looking motor.

1- read this thread https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...tlander-41619/
it's in English as almost everything here. We have member from all over the world and we try to use the most common language but on occasion posts are answered in Spanish by our Mexican friend.
2- To start a thread use the button at the top left of the first page called [New thread]
3- Don't post "out of subject" in many thread like you did this will get you in trouble (this is viewed as rude)
