I seem to only get about 20-22 mpg in my 2003 AWD. Anyone getting better? Also, anyone know how many gallons of gas left when the low fuel warning first comes on? Never seen a low fuel light go on this early.

I usually get 400 km (250 mi) per tank in the city and 500 km (312.5 mi) on the highway. So, as you can see, the Outlander is a bit of a pig on gas.

Those MPG readings seem normal to me ...
Think about it .... 2.4L engine w/auto tranny driving 4 wheels wieghing almost 4k lbs , thats actually pretty good.
Almost identical to my 2.2l 97 Subaru outback legacy AWD auto tranny.
