2011 Endeavor - 99.9 mpg, fuel cut off?
Hey Everyone - I'm the proud owner of a new automatic Mitsubishi Endeavor, purchased about a week ago. I've just noticed that when I let off the gas and coast, i'll feel a slight pull (as if the brake is being slightly depressed) when my speedometer goes below the 30 mph mark and around the 20 mph mark. As this happens, my MPG display usually goes to 99.9 mpg.
I haven't been able to find any information on this issue for the Endeavor, although vehicles from other manufacturers sometimes have a fuel cutoff when coasting and/or the vehicle downshifts itself. I do have an automatic transmission and do not think this is downshifting because the rpm's slightly increase (around 250 rpm) when the slight pull is felt. Any ideas?

My 2010 Endeavor does the same thing. I had always just assumed that it was due to the transmission downshifting which caused the sudden decceleration.
I'm not sure it's an "issue" really, just the way the SUV is. I have no information on Endeavor fuel cutoff behavior, though it sounds like something worth looking into.
