Default My Outlander replacement...

... in a few years. It looks like a bigger brother to current Outlander.

It looks pretty good and it does resemble the Outlander a little bit, especially the rear.
I don't know if it is just the picture, but the interior looks a little cheap.

Do you even own an Outlander? The Outlander's interior looks cheap.

I would think that he was being sarcastic, Outlander has very cheap and minimalistic interior. Sorento's interior looks outstanding, but a bit busy for me with all these buttons, almost reminds me of Audi! I actually appreciate Outlander's minimalistic approach.

btw, here are more pics and details

I like it...a lot! Guess that's because I like the Outlander so much.

But it's no Outlander =) I guess well see what 2010 has in store for the Outlander in terms of styling.

In the picture, the Sorrento's plastic on the steering wheel and right below the window look cheap to me. The rest of the interior looks pretty good though, so I guess I should have been a little more direct.

Its a nice looking car, but before you compare it to the Outlander lets find out how much it costs. I know the 2008 Sorento (US model) had a base price about $2,000 more than the base model 2009 Outlander. It sure looks like to me this model of the Sorento will at least cost as much as their 2008 model. For an extra $2,000 you can add a lot of upgrades on the interior material so it may not be fair to the Outlander to compare it to the Sorento.

Hm... it's more of 1k difference and Sorento base comes with bigger engine...

I don't what upgrades you are referring for interior material. For one thing I don't want to bother with interior upgrades and I don't even think you can do any upgrades on the cheap plastic in Outlander.

I agree with that. I love my Outie, but the plastic on the doors and a few other areas look cheap on my XLS. Can't argue with value for the money, however, and the 100K warranty and 60 K btb are hard to beat. The car drives great and the gadgets are cool. The Kia will be interesting and probably popular.
