My daughter’s 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander is having transmission issues as she is about to head to college. It is in fantastic shape, but reverse is more like neutral. :/
I’m digging into that, but have a mystery part that I can’t seem to identify. It has a hose with some sort of oily end on it that was dangling in the engine bay…that can’t be right! Some not the detailed manuals Saint indicate where this is there could be a screw on oil filter…but I don’t think that is what this is. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? what is this part, and where should the hose be attached? Thank you for any help that you can offer a newbie to Mitsubishi family. I just can’t seem to find the details
anywhere, so I thought I’d reach out. Thanks! Mystery part and hose. Where should this hose go, and what is it?
