if its pre wired for a subwoofer does that mean its also prewired for an amplifier? i ask because i find it hard to believe that they would secretly shove an amp in the vehicle and just not tell you about it.

Thank you for the drawing, it makes sense now..

I guess I would need a harness to tap into this d15 plug... is that available OEM or must buy it from a dealer? can you also offer a part number??? (it seems you have the info) thank you!

if the vehicle is prewired for the sub it must be prewired for the amp. that dosen't mean it has an amp it just means the wire connector is there.

to install the subwoofer you would need to install the amp.

there is also a plug for an inverter to run a 110volt outlet. but no inverter.

Hi BrodyGuy, look in the next link, https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_230963/tm.htm, there is the procedure to locate this connector (D-128), and this link, https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_235391/tm.htm, has circuit diagram for AC Inverter. . .

In the other thread you had listed the parts:

- AC plug p/n mn141360 $35.00
- console box p/n 8011a410 $30.00
- inverter under the pass seat p/n 8638a001 $325.00

Does it really need to be the OEM inverter? it's fairly pricey. Does anybody have the specs on it, i.e. power output? I was thinking of getting and after market one and using the same connector, looking at the wires on the connector from the pictures I imagine it can't be a very power full one, maybe 200W max?

for that kind of price, you may as well just get one that you can plug and play into the existing power outlets.
