New 08 Outlander for the UK announced:

2 new engines: 2.2 Di-D and 2.4 MIVEC

Additional features like new wheels and backup camera, etc.

When will North America get them ? Im in the market and will wait a little bit longer for a 08 if I have to (or maybe use the upcoming 08 release to get a better deal on a 07 )

 

Love the new wheels. They are the ones that are in the new Outlander commercial. I am definately waiting to buy until these hit the dealer. I wonder what the new "soft touch painted dash" is going to be like.

From UK article:

* New milled finish 18� alloy wheels (standard on Instyle)
* Rain sensor and rear parking sensors (standard on Intense+ and Instyle)
* Soft touch paint finish on dashboard
* Rear view camera now available in combination with Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (Full-map touch screen Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Navigation with music server)

Hope these make it here to the states.

My Dealer told me the 08 Outlander here in USA will have a 2.4 option. It may be for LS version only. Should arrive in October.
