How do you install it? How much is the whole setup going to cost?
Before I attempted locating these parts Iinspected a new Outie on the lot and noticed the upper glovebox has the area marked out for placement of the switch.

I also removed the lower glovebox to access the air vent where the hose will attach. The extension is there already. All that is required is for you to cut two holes,

snap the switch in place and attach the hose.

The parts would cost $25.00 plus shipping

Look at iot this way, the 3rd row seats is about the price of 3 aluminum shift ****. If you need it, it's not that expensive.

P.s- I have sent you a few e-mails in the past few weeks and I did not receive a reply....
I apologize Shambala, I've been trying to track down the Rockford emblem it seems that you have to buy the dash trim to get it.

the outside chrome emblems are available

Outlander 7415a196 $34.11
Mitsubishi mr108148 $15.17

by the way the 2009 model looks sharp with the chrome outer door handles

wiring harness p/n 8512a120 available for $57 and the camera p/n 8781a017 for $475.

This harnessgoes through thetailgate and ends at the roof on the right side. You will need to continue a wire from there to the MMCS.

So this is all that is needed to upgrade and install the backup camera for a 07-08 that already has the MMCS? Do instructions come with it or is it pretty easy?

anyone know if the 3rd row seat can be removed and is there a false dummy door you cna put over it? i find that seat absolutely useless and wouldnt mind the extra storage from the cubby it would create.
