so i've had my 03 outlander for about a month now. i'm seminary student (read: dirt poor) but i'm a previous jeep owner and can't just leave things be. what are some mods/upgrades/stuffs i should look into first?

on the issue side: my master cruise control comes on whenever i start the car. i can turn in off, but same result the next time. other than being rather irritating, is there something that causes this that i should look out for?
