Haha thanks. My husband and I took theAlero to walleyworld to get the tire fixed and get some synthetic for one of the motorcycles that the PO was running Suzuki racing synthetic in. I had planned on using Rotella T diesel synthetic but they didnt have the weight I thought I wanted,then I noticed that they are now carrying the Mobil motorcycle synthetic and were discussing it when this guy starts talking to us about oils. It was funny how he started the conversation directed towards my husband which until recently he was clueless about oils, it was nice that he was able to keep up with most of it

What I did find out is that the Walmart brand oil filters are pretty good and are made by purolator ( I think, I have a bad memory) its whoever makes the Audi filters; and some other synthetic oil stuff which pretty much backed up what I had allready decided.

I still dont know what to put in the outie on the first oil change though I have a better idea now. Oh and I had to giggle when I asked the service advisor what oil mitsus ship with, I was guessing Valvoline. He said he had no idea and that I knew more about oil than he did...oh my

 

I called my dealer and they said 5w-20.

 

Can they tell you what brand it shipped with from the factory? Thats where my dealer got hung up on.

 

Put in whatever brandturns your crank then drive it like you stole it.
