Got mine replaced like 2 weeks ago, took about 25 minutes!

 

I like this new influx of Outie people. They really are like a seperate group on the forum. You guys have established a decent few DIY write ups and some really useful info.

the recall is a RE-recall... all outlanders have already had their cooling fan controllers replaced, but they need to come back in and get the second batch installed.

 

Wow a RE RE RE RE RE RE call. Good to see mitsubishi still fixing their mistake.

its made by denso. Which means that Im sure many other car makers use it as well.

 

Oh im sure there are tons of parts that werent made by mitsubishi themselves. Just saying its a good thing they stand behind everything on a car they built. I like how they are doing another re-call to get something right and in good working order.

 

Yes, me too. After run reports from Carfax my Outlander in service on the next day. It took about 30minutes. Weldone!

 

My outtie is from england iam living in germany at the mo, does my outtie new to be recalled?

 

Totaly Newbie here.....question about the recall.....i just purchased a 2003 Outlander from a non-Mitsubishi dealer.....how do i check if i need to get the recall done....it is as simple as calling the phone number above....what other steps are involved? thanks....i love this forum....
